The Research Of The Preparation Of Black Alumina Substrate Used In Multilayer Layout

The purpose of my study is to produce black alumina ceramics used as crystal oscillator base by tape-casting process. In this thesis, the research of the tape casting used in ceramic substrates at home and abroad are discussed. The main intention of this study is to investigate the certain alumina ceramic's process in order to gain the fine film. And I have done something about co-fired multilayer ceramics.On the condition of research to the lower fired temperature of black alumina ceramics, I choose one power to continue my experiment. In tape-casting process, the mixture of C2H5OH and C4H8O were used as the solvent of the slurry. The more suitable dispersing agent (C4H9O)3PO was selected as the suitable dispersing agent in the slurry to fit the solvent after the preparatory experiment. The influence of alumina powder content, the ratio of plasticizer and binder not only on the viscosity of the slurry but also on the pliability of green tape were investigated.Some conclusions obtained. When the ratio of plasticizer was 0.4, the alumina content was 50%, the content of dispersant was from 2% to 4.5%, the binder's content was 31.9%, fine green film with perfect pliability could obtain. When the green tape was sintered at 1320℃, could get ceramics with the density of 3.5 g/cm3, the ratio of constriction from 15% to 17%, the ratio of resistance from 108 to 109Ω·cm, and relative dielectric constant about 13.7 when the content of B2O3 was 2%.Then, some study about the co-fired multilayer ceramic had been involved. Cut the film into pieces, print some W-metal paste on them, then felt several layer together under a certain press and temperature. The film next to each other was connected by metal paste, too. After then sinter it on the condition of gas protection.
