Embedded Internet Connecting Technology And Realization

Along with the rapid development of Internet, the application of Internet has come into every aspects of people's daily life. Network analyst forecast that embedded devices will become more popular and 70 percent information which transported on the Internet will come from small embedded system in the future. It has important realistic significance and economic value to research the connection of embedded system and Internet.After researching the status in quo of embedded Internet technology and analyzing and comparing the respective advantages and disadvantages of several projects, a project based on C8051F020 microcontroller to implement an embedded Web Sever is provide in this dissertation.How to implement the TCP/IP Lean in C8051F020 microcontroller is the key to implement a Web Server. According to the character of the 8-bit SCM's limited resources,we have simplified the TCP/IP protocol family(ARP,ICMP,IP,TCP) and made it running on the 8-bit SCM. In this way, Remote userson Internet can visit this Web Server through Web Browser to monitor and control the embedded systems remotely.The thesis describes the general development of Embedded System and Internet. In the following, the whole hardware and software design project of this embedded Internet system and the uIP TCP/IP Lean for free is described in detail. When introduces the hardware design of this embedded Internet system in detail,the emphases is the chip resource of MCU C8051F020 and network interface controller chip RTL8019AS and circuit design. Based on the study and research on register of RTL8019AS and protocol of Ethernet, design the drivers of the Ethernet interface in the course of introduce the design of this embedded Internet system software. Then give a detailed analysis of some standard Internet protocols like ARP, IP, ICMP and TCP, at the same time introduce the HTTP protocol and CGI(Conunon Gateway Interface). At last a method to realize Embedded Web Server in SCM system is given.In the end of the dissertation summarizes the result of the experiment of the embedded Internet interconnection system and gives the improvement suggestions.
