The Implementation Of Mobile Patient Information Query Terminal

Personal computers are offen used as the patient information query terminal in the management model of hospital information systems at present. These fixed query terminals are not flexible enough in certain case, for example in clinical nursing ward rounds. According to this situation, the implementation of a mobile information query teminal based on linux and S3C2410 by using embeded system developing technology is expounded. The concrete contents are as follow: linux operating system transplantation, device driver realization in buttom-level, database accessing by using embeded SQL, data transmission by socket programming and graphic user interface(GUI) designing based on MiniGUI. In addition, tools such as ECG generator and processor, medical image reader, timer are added for the practicability of the device. The practice shows that the operating system is stable, as well as device driver and applications, the data accessing and transmission run normally. This device has achieved an expected effect. The implementation of this termianl proved that advanced embeded system developing technology based on linux operating system and 32-bit arm-architecture microcontroller can enhanced the microminiaturization, networking and intellectualization of a medical equipment.
