The Research And Design Of IMS Lawful Interception Based On ETSI Architecture

With the full development of next generation network (NGN), the communication industry is developing rapidly. For the purpose of keeping national security and society stability, lawful interception is now adopted by a lot of nations in the world.The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is the sub-system which supports the IP multimedia business at the Releases5 of 3GPP and its core characteristics are SIP protocol and independence of access. 3GPP IMS will be the developmental direction of the next generation network.In this paper some concepts such as lawful interception, current status of LI research abroad, structures and functions about LI in the ETSI standard, IMS network structures, and it's related protocols are discussed in detail. Then the IMS lawful interception application system based on the ETSI is proposed.. After analyzing IMS LI's service requirements, system architecture is designed. And then sub-modules' structure, work processes and interfaces are demonstrated completely. At the end of this paper, the research of system security is expanded.
