The rapid development of modern dissemination makes literature art more intermediary. In the communication era, literature classics experience inescapably tremendous change in the field of reading. Reading from the text is gradually replaced by from TV images. A great deal of literature classics exist before the TV screen which promote the popular dissemination of them as well as bring some phenomenons such as distortion,misunderstanding and banter to them. From a certain extent these phenomenons can clear up the value of literature classics.Based on this background, this paper combs throughly to the dissemination on TV of literature classics, and expatiates their value orientation from culture,ideology and aesthetics. It believes that it is necessary for TV to disseminate literature classics, which can contribute to the construction of China's advanced culture and mainstream ideology. One should find a connection between elite culture and popular culture in order to make images a kind of new culture which suit both refined and popular tastes. In the aspect of aesthetics orientation, it is necessary to dig sufficiently the potential of language on TV to improve the works'aesthetic value accordingly enhance the people's percipient ability. Otherwise, this paper analyses the controlled factors of literature classics in the dissemination on TV and makes a conclusion that they come under the macroscopical influence of politics, economy and culture and microcosmic control of audience rating, disseminator and accepter. Consequently this paper puts forward some personal perspectives. Firstly, one should investigate literature classics, which are in the historical context, using a modern angle of view, to combine our traditional classical culture with modern civilization to dig their significance in modern society. Secondly, the remolding to the images in literature classic should not only be loyal to original works, according to which to transform letters into images automatically. It should also reconstruct the images by the rules of TV art in the basic of understanding and discovering. Thirdly, we should hold the limit to guide the audiences to exert a subtle influence on the taste in culture. Lastly, the paper suggests establishing a suit of reasonable evaluation system which takes every factor into account. Not evaluate programs unilaterally nor appraise them by successful or failed market.The dissemination on TV of literature classics is the necessity along with the development of society and history. Literature classics penetrate popular culture ceaselessly with the help of the dissemination on TV, while popular culture can improve the taste in virtue of masterpiece offect. This is a kind of exchange that both need. With the development and popularization of new media, the dissemination on TV of literature classics will show its multiplicity. No matter what it becomes, the essence of literature and classical trait will be everlasting.
