In the process of modernization, people in china's minority areas have possessed many different kinds of modern media, and it was known that the modern media influences societies cultures. Sala is one of unique ethnic minorities located in the north-western of China, now Sala people and the traditional village they lived have been in the environment composed and created by modern media.. The method and thinking that community study is adopted in this research ,and to analyze the case of a Sala village in changes——Shitoupo village. Through author's participant observation, the researcher to get a sort of understanding about the life style and idea of a small typical minorities community, thus to analyze such questions as the mode and way that mass media impact on traditional village culture, etc. According to these social fact in the village to make a kind of interpretive understanding to the modern progress of village culture and the influence from Han nationality.The thesis has reviewed communicate conditions which information spread in Shitoupo at first; Secondly has explores the features of folk community culture under the environment composed by modern media; In the third chapter has revealed the change of village culture pattern in the modern media environment. Finally through the analysis ,the thesis probe into the impact on folk culture, and reflect on the problem about the existence and development of the village culture under the modern background. The author thought that the modern media isn't the only factor and the first factor of influencing village culture, just an important factor that can't be ignored, and that, the modern media is a double-edged sword, while destroying the village tradition, have promoted the development of village society at the same time.
