TFT-LCD solely exceed CRT in Brightness, Contrast, Power expending, Life-span, Volume, Weight at present. TFT-LCD system consists of Liquid Crystal panel, driving circuit module and controlling circuit module. With micro-electronics technology development, in the manufacture process of TFT-LCD, Liquid Crystal panel and driving circuit module had been combined, except controlling circuit module. The primary function of controlling module is that establish AC driving electric field by modulating electricity signal,peak value,frequency and so on to come into bing the display timing and display data which drive the Gate Driver and Source Driver of LCD display module.As for display mechanism, the display theory of TFT-LCD is to change the alignment direction of liquid crystal with a certain level of voltage, so that the transmission is changed with different voltage levels. However, because of liquid crystal special transmission characteristic, the input and output signals of LCD are in a non-linear relationship which lead to the distortion of image.In order to repair this distortion,the page adopt the method of progam.Futhermore, liquid crystal has another characteristic which can't work for a long time in the environment of DC .This characteristic can make the life-span of display component become short.Therefore, TFT-LCD adopt the method of AC driving.The driving voltage of this method carry through turn periodicity which lead to the change of liquid crystal deflexing orientation.This need to judge for polarity of driving signal. The page have achieved the following work:(1) Introduce development status and the research significance of TFT-LCD; Disuss the physical characteristic of liquid crystal molecular and the photoelectricity in the apply of TFT-LCD;(2) Analyze the composing of TFT-LCD; Explain the on-off characteristic of the component TFT in the view of physical mechanism and simulate speciality by appling the simulation software which called PSPICE; Disuss the driving theory and driving mode of TFT-LCD in detail;(3) Design the corresponding hardware circuit of controlling module which include the circuit of all signal chip linked with outside module, the circuit of controlling module and driving module linking;Research the function of inside module for all signal chips;(4) Design mostly function program of controlling system:Correction of display distortion because of liquid crystal special transmission characteristic;Correct judgement of input signal mode adjustment of brightress.At last, apply software to validate function program and solidify MCU.
