With the deep application of GIS, The extension of the application requirements require GIS software architecture to be made new demands and challenges. In this paper, focusing on the development of application of office-GIS, with plug-in technology this advanced software development model. exploring the GIS application framework with a dynamic loading, convenient expansion,flexible configuration to facilitate the development of new methods and ideas. Plug-in architecture is a very flexible architecture, plug-in dynamically inserted into the system, and can be free to remove and replace, so the system can achieve dynamic loading. GIS application framework is the basic GIS application framework that is a set of similar functions to provide the basic functions of general services.Based on GIS application as the starting point, first of all, analysis of the existing GIS software platform architecture and principle of plug-in, Using Domain Driven-Design, through analysis of the GIS applications in the field of Architecture and its functional structure , Proposing plug-in GIS application framework , considering from two aspects which is extensibility and dynamic ,highly refined basic meaning and identity of plug-in GIS application framework. Research On Operational structure and service levels, building a plug-in GIS application framework; Secondly, based on UML modeling technology and object-oriented technology, Constructing the plug-in GIS application's classified system of basic functional layer Model, advanced functional layer Model, Expansion functional layer Model and the object model, in this model, Carrying on the structural definition,formal description,interface design and the core plug-in module design based on the different levels plug-ins, Constructing standard expression of the different levels plug-in. Realizing the Unified Organization and Management of plug-in resources. Finally, on the study of the plug-in loading process in Urban Planning Management System and the Generation process of GIS Application Framework, According to this framework, achieving the Urban Planning Desktop prototype management system, verifying the practicality and feasibility of plug-in GIS application framework. .Through the research in this paper, achieving a plug-in application frameworks of the GIS system, simplifying the complexity of GIS integration application system, enhancing the ease of use, scalability and feasibility, It provide a new methods and ideas to achieve dynamic load, flexible configuration, expansion of convenient, easy to deploy and highly reusable GIS applications .
