Storage is one of the three core operations which include storage, sorting and delivery in the distribution center. The rapid sorting system and its efficiency become the key factor to improve the efficiency of the whole distribution center.At present, the research of the rapid sorting system and related technology shows diversification. Different order structures, sorting modes, combinative modes of the equipments, work patterns and efficiency of the single equipment can all influence the efficiency of the whole sorting system. Meanwhile, there will be bottleneck if the overall layout and the work pattern of the supply system are unreasonable. How to study the sorting efficiency, improve the sorting efficiency, eliminate the bottleneck become the key factors of restricting the development of the rapid sorting system. So, the theory and engineering application field pay much attention to the rapid sorting system and the rapid sorting technology.This thesis aims at structuring the simulation platform of the rapid sorting system, analyzing the dynamic changes of the sorting efficiency and finding the bottleneck of the sorting system. Through improving the sorting methods, such as sorting modes and combinative modes of the equipments enable the sorting efficiency to reach maximum.This simulation platform makes a tobacco distribution center as the prototype, utilizes the WFnet to set up the order dealing model, replenishment model and the sorting model, describes the dynamic procedure of the order dealing system, replenishment system and the sorting system. On this basis, this thesis develops the simulation platform of the rapid sorting system based on the OOP technology and the OpenGL technology which improves the view and authenticity of the rapid sorting system and is convenient to analyze the cause of the bottlenecks.The verification to the simulation platform with the true sorting order data of a tobacco distribution center shows that the sorting efficiency and the replenish efficiency are in conformity with real data, which proves the validity and the practicability of the simulation platform of the rapid sorting system. By analyzing different replenishment system of the rapid simulation platform, this thesis judges the circulative supply system as the most effective system without bottleneck.In addition, this thesis adjusts the parameters of the equipments with the simulation platform; the sorting efficiency has been improved from 18500 to 22500.Based on the application of the simulation platform in this thesis, this simulation platform can not only verifies the rationality of design plan and optimize of the rapid sorting system, but also offers effective support to the research of the technology and the theory of the rapid sorting system. Meanwhile, the simulation platform accelerates the designing procedure of the rapid sorting system.
