In this dissertation, we study rapid prototype model and micromachining in transparent dielectric with femtosecond laser. We analyze the interaction of femtosecond laser with transparent dielectric in detail, which the main content is listed as following:Firstly, we research rapid prototype model about femtosecond laser micromachining. As for two-dimension plane model to machining, after changing digit image, we process it by functions which are included by Matlab image processing toolbox and have been written on VC platform, and then refine boundary information from the result and determine femtosecond laser machining path.As for three-dimension devices, to improve precise and reduce fabrication time, we design a kind of adaptive slicing, which approximate to model surface with low-order surface. It is showed that this algorithm is successful from the result slicing the vase.Secondly, we pay attention to all kinds of factor which it is possible to influence fabrication, and study the mechanism of interaction of femtosecond laser with transparent dielectric. We also drill deep holes in K9 glass by femtosecond laser-assisted chemical etching. To optimize fabrication with femtosecond laser, it is necessary to cooperate with laser power and machining velocity and overlap among damage spots, which depend on the sample.At last, we also try to fabricate practical apparatus with femtosecond laser. To take advantage of refractive index change in the bulk of glass under irradiation of femtosecond laser, we fabricate grating, and analyzed its diffractive character. Compared to usual black-white grating, its diffractive spots are asymmetry about the strongest spot, in the meantime, all of main maximums are stronger than that of black-white grating, but minor main maximums are weaker.
