Research On Model Of Ontology-based Knowledge Management

Knowledge has been the most important capital since we came into knowledge economy era. Initial mode of management has been ultimately changed by the sharp increase, rapid spread and communication of knowledge. Knowledge management gets high regard recent years and extensive used by every walk of life, when these are as a fire-new management idea and management method. Meanwhile, the characteristics of real time, knowable, specific and integrative, by users'information requirement, make a challenge to the application of knowledge management. The development of network requires users to enhance the developing of electronic information resource and the exploring and management of knowledge, adapt themselves to the unceasingly changing environment, and change from the service of supplying information into the service of requesting knowledge elements.On account of there is no special means to support knowledge management, improving the efficiency of knowledge workers by the knowledge management just spreads as an idea. Therefore, establishing knowledge management ontology models and software tools become research task in informatics, management science and computer science.This paper establishes the mode of knowledge management by semantic-web and ontology technologies, experiments by OWL and put forward a model of ontology-based knowledge management—OBKM. OBKM can mine concepts ontology (knowledge elements) from a special field and use knowledge elements as the base of knowledge management. Then it can integrate knowledge elements and build the relationship of knowledge elements by semantic-web and ontology technologies. At last, it establishes the relationship of knowledge elements and helps the management, reasoning and query of knowledge.Compare the traditional method of knowledge management with OBKM,OBKM improves the rate of accuracy and success to knowledge management. The result shows that this model used effectively. OBKM probes into the new research mode, which use knowledge management as research content and the semantic integration as the mode of knowledge management. And it supplies technologies and tools for the mining of knowledge elements, semantic integration, knowledge reasoning and query by OWL in semantic-web and ontology technologies.
