The development of Chinese media industry has always been linking with the deepening of economic reform. The media industry has undergoing a period full of exploration and innovation. At the beginning the media industry focuses on reporting regional economic integration, later it tries to make cross-regional expansion, and it has finally developed into the Regional Media to meet the needs of regional community.This paper analyzes both the inner and outside motivational factors from its two basic components: the regional culture and regional economic integration by using Regional Media Analysis Method.This paper also analyzes the structure and marketing model of the media industry and the regional economic situation of the Bohai Sea Coastal Area, the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta by taking newspaper as an example. It speculates the developing space of media in the three regions above.Finally, the paper analyzes the factors of hindering the development of regional media and proves the general conformation of the successful regional media.
