On Story-telling Talk Shows Under The Guide Of The Narratology Theory

Narrate can be regard as sort of process that make story present oneself to audience . In today's society , talk shows appear not only as a form or means of media but also a social phenomenon , which has raised more and more attention from scholars in the field of mass culture and media srudies . TV narratology has not been valued greatly in china as a new academic research field .Story is one importance aspect in narratology research , its conception already is divorced from utensil story that carrying history or practical meaning . From the visual aspect of narratology , at first , clear definitions study objectof the thesis , holding TV talk show of narration configuration on put in the theory ftame of narratology .Chapter I focused on the noumenon of talk show program and discussed the essence and key qualities of talk-show program . And in this chapter , I gave some examples of storytelling talk-show programs .Based on the view of storytelling as a narrative text , then analyzed the narrative framework of storytelling talk show , including the classification of story configuration mode,the essential elements to form a storyteller and the framing of plots .Since the narrative text broke through the boundary of the nature of language text , the realization of narrative visually has become a new question to our researchers . Although TV narratology has become a fledging academic subject in the study of television ,the research on talk show grogram which is regarded as the most important type of TV program is very rare at the present . I hope that the study om storytelling talk shows can provide some available proposals to the talk show program makers and make a contribution to the construction of TV narratology .
