With the continuous progress of the era, the society has taken on more and more modernization. At the same time, the focus of people's fire protection is increasing with it. In recent years, EPS power supply system is widely used in fire fighting and emergent lighting cases because of its predominant performance and good environment protection.This paper mainly studies about full digital-controlled Emergency power supply system which Based on LPC936 MCU (Microcomputer Unit). We analyzed the main functions of the EPS and established the general scheme according to National Standards. Consequently, detailed research on the hardware and software design of inversion system, charge system and the system for monitoring lead acid battery is carried out.First of all, the hardware design of inversion system is introduced in detail, including the parameter calculation and the selection of the components, the design of control circuits and circuits for sampling analog signal, as well as the design of the driver circuits and auxiliary power. After that, we probe into the critical technologies in the software design of the inversion system, such as the generation of sine wave, the adjustment of effective value of the output voltage, etc. The flow chart of the program is also presented. Secondly, according to the charge characteristics of lead acid battery and the practical requirements, the"four-phase"charge mode composed by small current, constant current , small current and floating is adopted in this design. The charge system adopts full-bridge circuit and the methods of selecting the main components of the charge circuits are also introduced. In order to guarantee the stability of the system, a system for monitoring lead acid battery is introduced in this paper, which is quite precise and inexpensive. Each battery uses separate monitoring module, which can send the monitoring information to the PC platform and thus realize the intelligent management of the monitoring.Finally, a sample 10KVA machine is presented, of which the functions were analyzed and investigated from the angles of charge and inversion. The experimental results show that the system has well performances in charge and inversion, this design is effective.
