The Internet's routing architecture is structured as a two-level hierarchy: intradomain routing and interdomain routing. Each routing domain is a single administrative system, operated within a uniform set of routing policies, and is operated independently from any other domain, which is is termed an "Autonomous System" (AS).The interdomain routing uses Border Gateway Protocol(BGP) to exchange routing information among ASs, which allows each network manager to define its routing policies. It makes every AS's commerical contract the key of the Internet's structure and the performance of point to point. Thus it is important to identify the relationship between ASs for comprehending the Internet structure. At present, there are lots of efforts focus on inferring the AS's relationship. But there is a little material about the inferences' validation and evaluation. This paper has introduced the commercial relationships between ASs on classification, the general rules to set routing policies in accordance with AS relationships, detailedly analyzed the theory of inferring the relationship and its process, summarized several approaches to infer AS relationship from BGP routing tables. Then this paper gives an evaluation for the accuracy of the AS's relationship inferring algorithm from two principles:1 commercial relationship between ASs should be a relatively invariable element 2 there should not have circles among provider-customer relationship, which means one AS's ancestor shouldn't be its descendant. The relationship has been inferred in CAIDA is experimented.
