Application Of CBR In Knowledge Management System

The related concept of knowledge management, the research background and CBR(case-based reasoning) related concepts were introduced first in the dissertation.Then the feasibility of mining the tacit knowledge from knowledge management system using CBR method was discussed in the dissertation. The purpose of the study was to research how to explore and analyze the tacit knowledge from lots of cases and how to integrate the CBR system into the knowledge management system. Four basic views were built for constructing the efficient and convenient environment of the knowledge management system based on CBR. These four views have different focus: the cycled knowledge management based on CBR principle view was the fundamental process of the CBR method in the knowledge management; the task-method structure knowledge management based on CBR method view was detailed method to achieve the CBR method in the knowledge management; the knowledge management based on the network CBR implement view used the fashion network technology to implement the process of the CBR method in the knowledge management; the knowledge management based on the humanism CBR share view stressed on the importance of the humanism in the knowledge management. The four main problems in knowledge management system based on CBR were discussed. The discussed problems were the expression of the case and knowledge, case retrieve, case reuse and reservation and revision and the system evaluation.Finally combining long-distance line telecommunications failures plans knowledge management system design, a detail description of the implementation how to find a suitable plan and obtain explicit knowledge from the tacit knowledge in the cases was given. The tree structure of the case and pruning algorithm were used to retrieve the right case.
