Presently, the 3-D Design System Pro/ENGINEER is widely applied in engineering field. And, the research of Standard Parts Library (SPL) which is based on Pro/ENGINEER has acquired considerable achievement, although, there are some limitation and shortage in aspects such as the Administration of Standard Parts'information, Library-Building Tools and Assembling. This paper is just about established in the history achievements of the research of SPL, and aims at shortage mentioned above, has mainly researched and successfully realized the SPL Library-Building Tool and Assembling Toolkit.Firstly, based on the achievement of the research of SPL, this paper has investigated fact requirement, has ascertained system frame and software platforms, and has made use case model of the function of system by UML.And then, this paper has separately studied on and realized the Model Control Subsystem and the Standard Parts Information Administration Subsystem. Has discussed emphases on important technique such as Parameterized Designing, Data Matching, the Control of Assembling Feature Tree, finally, has developed Assembling Toolkit by Pro/TOOLKIT. In addition, this paper has analyzed the important information of standard part, and has layout the Database package, Business Object package, User Interface package and Application package of the Standard Parts Information Administration Subsystem by UML.Finally, based on all theory foundation and the key techniques, this paper has modeled Classes of the system which realized by program, and has achieved the system target.
