In numerical control (NC) system, the graphics produced by CAD need to cut in proportion with 1:1, so cutting machine is important output equipment for CAD/CAM NC machining system.At present, most of domestic use NC cutting machine are overseas import equipments. These equipments'performances are better, but the price is expensive and the post-sale service is not prompt. There are only a few factories that manufacture NC cutting machine in the domestic market, such as Ningbo Jingwei NC Equipment Co. Ltd. Wenzhou Aoke Computer Cutting Equipment Factory . These factories formerly mainly manufacture mechanical equipments, so they haven't research & design technology of the NC control kernel, the modul of control kernel is always the third factory's product. Most of control systems are based on single chip microcomputer (SCM).The control system is poor at functions and closed, which isn't suitable with the development trend of NC opening, high speed and high accuracy.Combining NC technology with embedded system application, this task aims to develop a high performance NC cutting machine control system. The control system is designed open architecture, modularization and has formidable functions, friendly man-machine interface, it supports HP-GL instruction and can cut any complex graph.The control system can be widely applied to industries, for example: clothing, shoes and hat, leather, case and bag, also those industries of glass carve and engineering drawing and so on.The control system adopts the scheme of ARM9 & Windows CE.NET. The system's data processing and motion control ability is improved deeply as the ARM9 is designed to provide high-performance and cost-effective for applications development. The real-time embedded system Windows CE.NET is open, possesses abundant functions and plenty of development resources provided by Microsoft are available, As a result, the NC system development become easily and the time needed is shortened.The task's main work includes:1.General scheme of the NC cutting machine control system is put forward after comparing domestic and foreign kindred products'functions.2.Study and implement the stream interface device drivers and interrupt handling process programme in Windows CE.NET.3.Study the software development process of NC system based on Windows CE.NET.4.In order to suit the NC machining's development requirement to high speed and high accuracy, the control system's instruction processed in advance and speed control method is put forward after analyzing fully the Shoes Cutting Machine control system which is designed previously, especially the short lines grouping and automatic speed control method.The control system improves the NC cutting machine's efficiency.5. Research a high performance interpolation arithmetic and put it into practice.
