Regarding to the development of economics and the improvement to people's living level, the society gives more requirements about the passenger transportation efficiency and its human services. To moderate the contradiction of the fast increased transportation requirements and the insufficient railway capability Passenger-Dedicated, Lines are being built on a large scale in our county now, whereas our experience of the Passenger-Dedicated Lines operations isn't mature. At the beginning of the construction, we can't see the problems during the operation in the future. We can use the simulation techniques to make the illusory environment which would be similar to the true railway transportation, in order to preview how the true transportation operation would be in the future, and then to analyze the problems during the operation and find the countermeasure in time. So we can avoid the problems during the operations several years later. Therefore, simulation research on the Passenger-Dedicated Lines transportation operation has great meaning in practice.This text has studied deeply about Passenger-Dedicated Lines operations in our country on the basis of assisting from the experience and good results in China and abroad. It begins with normal principles of the simulation operation system. Firstly, it introduces the development history of the simulation operation system. The simulation principle summarizes that what is the basic function of the simulation software and it studies clearly about the simulation skills in the transportation process, analyzes the related questions, including the purpose, documents, main parameters, statistics indices, the process and so on. Regarding to the simulation result to assess the value and the effect of the programming, and take out the suggestions and the ideas to improve it. It also declares the section transport simulation process and the mode of DPLs operation organization. It gives the method that how to make the train running programming. It especially analyzes the impact to railway capability for the train stopping at the intermediate station. At last, we go on a simulative study with Hongqiao station and Jing-Jin intercity railway through collecting the documentation and studying at the Passenger-Dedicated Lines organization. In the simulative operation about Hongqiao station, we can deduct the time between two transports sequence and make the programming about the transport sequence and assess the design of the station. In the simulative operation about Jing-Jin intercity, we study the organization mode of Jing-Jin intercity. We especially declare the influence to the section capability at high tide of the departure sequence of the train parking at the station and the overtaking relationship with though trains. Calculate the sector movement time, and determine intercity yard to sent the line the service condition.
