The opera program is a kind of brand-new television program form in Chinawhich has bright characteristics of native culture. The appearance of television topicplay has opened up the form domain of China television program, and it alsosymbolizes the change of Chinese television traditional way of speaking.The prosperity of television program form concept is the result ofindustrialization and commercialization of television program and the shift of focusof the television communication idea to the audience. When the television program'sform is stable and unattractive, the television program form concept is difficult toarouse people's interest, otherwise, the television program form will become theresearch object with emphasis.Many entertainment programs, conversation programs, the Q&A programs andthe reality show programs emerges immediately on the television screen, whichmakes clear this is a time when program form renews rapidly.The limit and the research to the television program form is needed for thecompetition of television. Making clear the concept of the television program formwill do good to the standardization and large-scale production of TV programs. Whenthere are too many television programs, the audience becomes the scarce resources.The limit and the research to the television program form can help the audiencerecognize and remember, avoiding the homogeneity of television program andshaping the television program brand.Through the limits of the theme, content, structure and the narrative way of theopera program, we can lock the opera program in the condition with bright clearcharacteristic. Either its birth or development, as well as the wideattention it has absorbed, all of these have a broad social background, which is notonly the requirement of TV communication itself, but also the call of the audience,and at the same time, it relates closely to the trend of the contemporary culturalglobalization.Through summing up the opera program concept, the overall characteristics, thecultural context of development and the communication environment, this article hasanalyzed the difference and relation between the opera program and other existingprograms. Through the analysis to the topic play program form, this article haspointed out the difficulty and actuality of the opera program and bring forward theidea of harmonious development, aiming at the blurry understanding and disputeabout the opera program in TV field.The opera program is now in the process of rapid development, and it is stillunceasingly being changed. When we define the opera program we have to grasp afew key points and define it by its basic characteristics.According to different creative thinking, way of release and different audiences,the current opera program can be divided into two types or two tides: Namely, theplay of common people's life and elaborately created play. The play of commonpeople's life lays particular stress on the reality while the elaborately created playemphasizes the fictitiousness. There is difference between the two tides, but it is hardto say which is better.We should not require all the opera programs to be in the same form. In thebeginning phase of creation, we should stress on the idea of dating with the audience,using the symbols of plays to attract the attention of stable audience. Local or recentevent should be more related to the nature of topic while plays should be mademainly for the people of higher level. Here, each one should have an orientation. Thetopic play seeks the maximization of reception. Today's media requests simplesurvival, not the compound bearing. The core communication value of opera program lies in its return of the currentsocial ideological trend to common people. This kind of program form approves andpropagates the value of breaking the borderline between reality and fictitiousness, andit separates the communication theme and communication itself, attaching importanceto realizing the most effective communication by more effective means. At the sametime, the operation of opera program embodies the competitive idea of televisionindustry, returns the television to the original market, and entrusts the televisionprogram to the television industry itself.To some extent, the opera program is made to win the audience rating, steeringclear of the obstacle of the competition of TV plays. This half-consciousnessgenerating process determined that it will meet with some awkward problems.Although the capacity of opera program is limited and it is small, trivial, it alsoemphasizes the quality, taste and character. And this is its foundation of survival.The media's social role in our country will be transforming from singularity tomultiplication and from closing in to opening up in the ever-changing politicalatmosphere, the economic environment and the social ideological trend.The opera program practice is not merely an artistic creation or some individualachievement, it is an inevitable phase in the development of communication in ourcountry, it is also a fruit of TV development today. It has its own communicationvalue and the market value, with various forms. It will unceasingly absorb fineelements and unceasingly move forward. The topic play's appearance has manifestedthe respect to the law of television communication. We should attach importance toand develop this new program form, and return the television to the audience, to theoriginal market, and entrusts the television program to the television industry itself.
