The research and development of the physical simulation platform of endless rolling system, the configuration of the digital control system based on feildbus for multi-drive, and control strategy are presented in this paper. Especially to emphasize the application background, the hardware and software structure of the physical simulation platform system, research of the multi-drive control strategy and test resultsThis paper studies the process features of endless rolling, the key control technologies and design characteristics, analyzes running condition of different control strategies in system. Combining with the trait of technology and equipment, the physical simulation platform of the endless rolling system is developed.In this paper, the principle of endless rolling and the design plan of physical simulation platform are introduced. The mechanical structure and control system are configured. And the mathematical model of controlled object is set up. Three kinds of control tactics, that is convention PID, fuzzy PID and fuzzy-adaptive PID are advanced, which are used to control the system respectively. It studies the principles of different control algorithm in detail, and designs several kinds of controllers compatible to multi-drive system of endless rolling. Through theory analysis and simulation experiments, it proves that fuzzy adaptive-PID is best among the three kinds of control strategies. And this controller whose structure is simple, feature of real time is good, function of resisting the disturbance is strong and control parameter is easy to select, has highly practical value.
