Power electronic equipement is used more and more extensively, The reactive and harmonic pollution in power system is becoming so serious. The traditional method of reactive compensation and harmonic elimination has not been able to satisfy the requirements of the modern power system.As a new compensation device, active power filter(APF) is regarded as the most development potential reactive and harmonic compensation device.Because, It has the merits in rapid reflect,better compensation and the ability in dynamic compensation. .APF has been put into practical application abroad..however,the research and development on APF is still in the laboratory in our country.There is not mature product that is put into practical application now.It has very important meanings to develop APF.Shunt APF experiment device is designed which uses the TMS320F2812 as central controlling chips and intelligent power module(IPM) PM30CSJ060 as power unit. and its compensation capacity is about 330VA. Design of the APF main circuit and controlling circuit is analyzed in detail.The total designing contains the designing of signal aquiring and conditioning circuit,the choice of DC-side capacitance and the output reactor,the designing of DC-side voltage sensor and the protection circuit for main circuitA method different from traditional way of making program is used to develop the software of the APF experiment equipment. According to some empirical formula,the PI controller of DC-side capacitor and the PI controller of directive current triping circuit is designed Digital low-pass filter is reasonably designed to get better real-time performance as get better filting effect.Finally,analyzation of experimental waves and datas show the general validity of software and hardware of APF experiment equipment.
