In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to talk-show . There are many reasons for this phenomenon, however, the most significant of which must be the attraction of interaction in the talk show. Nowadays, though numerous researches have been done on talk show, most of them are done from the angle of dissemination culture and sociology with few done from the angle of semetics. As a kind of mass media and interpersonal media ,talk show should be classified as a special type of verbal communication. In this essay, the author examined specific features of talk show and the realization of interaction in it, aiming at putting forward suggestions on how to improve the effect of dissemination.1 Features that distinguish talk show from other daily verbal communication are as follows:(1) The constitution of talk show is complex , with multiple interaction relations involved; (2) The indispensable influence of publicity on talk show. From topics , ways of talking , scenery to choice of clothes are limited just because messages are conveyed by TV.(3) The purpose of communication is the master line of interaction process, which usually presents as topics of talk show. This kind of topic has the designation and the unique characteristic. In other words, hosts, honored guests and even audience talk about given topics instead of straying away freely although they seem to enjoy the freedom of talking what they like.(4) Publicity of talk show decides the form of talking in talk show differs from that in other kind of verbal communication.All in all, talk show in a specific form of mass media and interpersonal dissemination .2 Realization of interacton in talk show.
