Design And Implementation Of New OS Virtual Laboratory Architecture Based On Virtual Machine

With the fast development of Internet, remote education as a new educational mode has been an important subject that educational circles are studying in many countries. Because experiment is the effective manner for acquiring knowledge and improving technical ability in most engineer educations, the virtual laboratory that is based on Internet is the key of raising the quality of remote education.A new OS virtual laboratory development architecture based on virtual machine is introduced in the paper aiming at shortcomings and deficiency of existing systems. The virtual laboratory systems based on this architecture not only can finish OS virtual experiments and instruction well, but also possess good portability and extension. The paper introduces the design and implementation of OS virtual laboratory bases on virtual machine emphatically, and narrates the key mold and implementation technology of the architecture in detail.
