Research On Evaluation Mechanism Of Software For Archives Management Under The Background Of Integrative Management Of File And Archives

Integrative management of file and archives is a hotter topic in the field of archives management of our country in recent years. It indicates a new research tendency, and software for archives management is a most crucial link. Therefore, it is a problem which need solve urgently to evaluation of software for archives management.From the viewpoint of archives, the article tries to set up a reasonable and systemic theory system by using and consulting several evaluation methods of subject software and my own study. It analyzes the setting of study (which is the environment of integrative management of file and archives), elaborates the contradictory between archives management software and its environment in the setting of integrative management of file and archives, and discusses its developing conditions. On this basis, it proposes a method of setting up archives management software's evaluation system to restrain and standardize the development of archives management software. After introducing some software evaluation of other mature subject s systems, the article points out the necessity and significance of software evaluation system, devises the basic principles and problems we should pay attention to, and then it suggests a concrete target system which has been explained in detail. The system cannot leave practical operation. Therefore, the article elaborates the process of operation in detail which includes evaluation organization's construction, the steps of carrying out evaluation, and at the same time it gives some examples to explain. Lastly, it talks about the conclusion's popularization, which is also the problem of from evaluation to re-evaluation.The innovation in this article is that it can integrate computer technology to analysis, research, and quantify Archives management software from the perspective of archives under the present circumstances. At present, there are still a lot of difficulties in the construction practice for evaluation mechanism of software for archives management in China. The construction of the management system still has a long way to go. We believe that such situation will be changed, and its great value will be visualized with the support from the government and the development of economy.
