Based on introducing the logistics warehouse system and the modeling methods of the discrete event dynamic system, the author builds the models of logistics warehouse system using the Petri net, and adopts simulation software of the logistics to analyze the warehouse system.On the basic of analyzing the warehouse operation procedure, this paper adopts the method of Basic Petri Net to build the model of the warehousing subsystem, uses the method of Timed Petri Net to build the model of the distribution processing subsystem, and utilizes the method of Stochastic Petri Net to build the model of the dispatch subsystem.The three models are simplified using the simplification technology. Through simplifying the warehousing subsystem's Petri Net model, we can analyze the noncongestion and reachability of the system. Through simplifying the distribution processing subsystem's Petri Net model, we can analyze that how long does the operation process spend. Through simplifying the dispatch subsystem's Petri Net model, we can analyze the average excitation rate of one time operation process and obtain the time of the operation process. With the analysis results the paper compares validity of the three models which are used to analyze warehouse operation processes.Some operation procedures in the warehouse system are simulated on three-dimensional animation using the logistics simulation software——ShowFlow. We can find out the"bottleneck"of the system and put forward some suggestions to solve the problem. It proves that the improved measure is validity by simulating and analyzing the improved model.The author puts forward the research approach used to study the warehouse operation procedure by Petri Net and ShowFlow. This method is suitable for studying the other dynamic and stochastic systems at logistics field, and provides a theory reference and practical foundation for designing and evaluating logistics system.
