Magnetic bearing, a high-performanced integrative machine-electricity bearing which employs electromagnetic forces to support a rotor. It has been attracting great attention because of the advantages of no mechanical touch, no frays and dispensing with lubricate compared with the traditional bearing and it is supposed to have vast and promising applicational prospect due to its advantages. It has been a bearing revolution all over the world. The research has stepped into many technology fields, such as mechanism, electron, computer science, cybernetics, sensor, etc., among all parts of the system, control system is a significant one, magnetic force bearing can work well only in the help of control system. So the performance of controller affects the dynamic performance of the system and the control precision of the rotor directly. Taking five-freedom-degree magnetic force bearing as research object, the design of the digital control system base on the DSP and the research on algorithm are studied in this paper. The advanced control hardware plan is made, and the traditional PID algorithm and the multimode intelligent control algorithm are discussed.This paper proposes the hardware design plan of digital control system of the magnetic bearing system based on the control mathematic model, according to which the controller hardware circuit is designed with a core processor , TMS320LF2407A.The paper also give the optimize design at the same time, including the design of anti-aliasing filter for the input signal to improve the accuracy of the signal to improve the precision of the whole system and the design of A/D conversion circuit to acquisition sensor signal without phase difference. The traditional PID algorithm is employed in control system based on the distributed control idea, and the multimode intelligent control algorithm has been discussed on the requirements of the fact to perform the good control of the system.The figures of the rotor suspending according to the simulation are presented to illustrate the control system performance and the results show that this system has the advantages of high stability, high control precision, strong stiffness, fast response and low noise.
