As a new supporting form, active magnetic bearing (AMB) has the advantages of long service life,no frays,high positional accuracy and high environmental adaptation and so on.So far, it has become research focus at home and abroad. As 600 Wh flywheel energy storage system design for the research background, this research focused on control system simulation for active magnetic bearing of 600 Wh energy storage flywheel, providing a theoretical reference for the development of prototype, the main research contents are as follows:This paper introduces the basic structure of the electromagnetic bearing control system and establishes the mathematical model of electromagnetic force and rotor. Based on the traditional PID control and the mathematical model of power amplifier, displacement sensor,controller, the closed-loop control system structure diagram and transfer function is established.The paper analyses the influence of the controller parameters on equivalent stiffness and equivalent damping for the AMB,the Routh criterion determines the range of the parameters of the controller. A set of optimal control parameters are used for the traditional PID control simulation. In order to solve the nonlinear magnetic bearings, the S-function is used to write the variable parameter PID control, and then analyses two kinds of simulation results.The paper introduces the experimental design of AMB, the working principle of NI PXI related hardware and the eddy current sensor. The paper analyses the relationship between power amplifier performance and parameters and designs a single degree of freedom test bench for AMB. Based on the analysis of the experimental system of magnetic bearing control system hardware, it is convenient to build the experimental prototype.In this paper, Labview is used for the control system simulation of AMB, the system is divided into several modules of data acquisition, control algorithm, data output, real time monitoring, the front panel layout is good for the human-computer interaction. Control simulation can reduce the development cycle and development difficulty.The mechanical system model and control system model was established by the prototype of dynamic simulation software ADAMS and the control system simulation software MATLAB/Simulink. The radial AMB and the rotor system is established by joint simulation in the virtual environment, the rotor can realize the stable suspension, and get the fluctuation curve. The simulation results show that can validate the feasibility and correctness of the test through the joint simulation, and provide a validation method for the design of AMB.
