21st century is information-based times and also learning-based times. Education faces new challenge. In order to adapt the demand for talents in information society, our education ideology, teaching model and students'learning methods should be changed and innovated. How to foster students'innovative spirit and practice ability in computer curricula teaching, give prominence to students'subject position and change students'learning method become a significant research project which need settling immediately in computer teaching.Vocational school Computer Application Basis is a course which concentrates on practice. The teaching model in computer teaching adopted currently is still conventional knowledge transmission method assisted with certain practice on computer. This kind of teaching method is not easy for students to integrate, apply and innovate new knowledge on the basis of former knowledge. The purpose of task-based teaching approach is to foster students' question analysis, problem-solving, autonomous and collaborative learning ability. Obviously this accords with the fostering goal of the course of Computer Application Basis.By adopting literature searches, experimentation, questionnaire survey and comparisons research methods, this thesis attempts to actualize task-based teaching in the course of vocational school Computer Application Basis. The author designs two kinds of different teaching cases in basic knowledge and operation stage and knowledge integration stage. By comparing experimental class achievements with control class achievements, the author concludes that applying task-based teaching method in computer teaching can improve classroom teaching effect and students'mastery degree to knowledge points. The author's analysis to the post-test questionnaire survey proves that task-based teaching approach can increase students'interest of learning computer and improve students'positivist, activity and enthusiasm, meanwhile, enhance students'autonomous, collaborative learning ability. This thesis comprises four parts. Part I illustrates the background, current situation, purpose and method of this project research.Part II illustrates the connotation, basic feature, theoretical basis, teaching design and task design of task-based teaching approach, and introduces the feature and design task principle of"obscuration type, open type"two kinds of typical tasks.Part III is the research of task-based teaching approach in vocational Computer Application Basis classroom teaching practice. And this part is the core of this thesis. It includes the introduction to the basic situation of research practice, the content of teaching practice, the applying process of teaching cases and analysis of experimental result, it also puts forward the problems which should be concerned in teaching practice. By adopting traditional teaching method in control class and task-based teaching approach in experimental class, and then comparing various modules testing achievements of control class and experimental class and analyzing the past-test questionnaire survey, it is fully proved that the task-based teaching approach can improve students'computer operation ability greatly and strengthen students'autonomous, collaborative learning ability.Part IV concludes the thesis research result and gives the expectation of the subsequent research of this project.The task-based teaching approach, as an effective teaching method, is advocated by more and more computer educators. The purpose of this research is to provide feasible reference for various vocational schools'task-based teaching.
