Research And Realization Of Embeded Controller In CAN Application Layer

Currently, the auto-control technology develops quickly, it has widely pervaded every aspect of manufacture and people's lives. Being a main type of fieldbus, CAN (Controller Area Network) has a wide applicable outlook. Now the designing of CAN bus is mainly focused on basic communication layer. And the fast development of Industrial Ethernet also leads the direction of the Industrial Control Net. I is the merging of field bus and Industrial Ethernet.While in the large scale industrial control net project, the field bus always conforms to some kind of Application layer protocol which makes the field bus more powerful.At the beginning of this thesis, According to their characteristics and practical demands, LPC2294, the 32bits ARM processor is choose to be the base physical plat of system development. The CANOpen Application layer protocol is embedded in uC/OS II RTOS. In this thesis, A realizable project for communication between CAN bus and Ethernet has been brought out. In order to deal with the problem, such as communication reliability and the real-time data , The thesis bring out two solution for these problem above, there are multi-message one reply and real time refresh FIFO. At the end, the debugging process are fully introduced, then the paper concludes the operation status of the system.The system can fulfill the process of data transforming and transferring between CAN bus and Ethernet., that makes a easy way to access CAN bus terminal device through Ethernet. Also with the CAN bus controller, the CAN bus device can respond part of CANOpen commend operation. With the application of Embed processor, the system has the advantage, such as small shape, low power, easily fit. It is worthful to the application of the system in industrial field.Currently, the combination of Industrial Ethernet and field bus has been rapidly developing. Because the standard solution of CAN Application layer designing is the right direction of the development of control system project, this research has very broad prospect.
