Three-dimensional reconstruction and quantitative characterization of the microstructure of materials is the most important and difficult part of material science. This article mainly adopt slicing technique to achieve three-dimensional reconstruction and characteristic parameters Computation and statistical analysis of regularly-shaped particles in spatial. In this article, the arithmetic is designed by myself, and realized programming. The main researches are as follows:We designed the arithmetic of generation and reconstruction of the regularly-shaped particles (include spherical particles, ellipsoidal particles, pyramid particles, prism particles, convex polyhedron particles), and we realized the visualization of the arithmetic by using the Origin software. The program could generate distribution random of discretional number of regularly-shaped particles in the specified room .The technique of serial sectioning is employed to obtain a serial of slices of cross section of the regularly-shaped particles. Given the designed algorithm, the computer program can identify matching linkages between adjacent contours of those particles at two adjacent slices. The matching points between adjacent contours are then connected, and the corresponding triangular patches are established. 3D surface reconstruction of regularly-shaped particles of spatial distribution is achieved as a result when those established triangular patches are linked one by one.We could calculate the regularly-shaped particles characteristic parameters by generation and reconstruction the equation of the regularly-shaped particles such as number, size, space between, volume fraction and so on.We designed twelve distributing test arithmetic and programmed them by using chi-squared test technique. Meanwhile we could do distributing fitting testing and statistical analysis on radius, surface area, bulk, topological parameter of regularly-shaped particles by the means of this program.By adopting language C and VB multi-programming, restructure the program of the generation,three-dimensional reconstruction, visualization and parameters statistical analysis for regularly-shaped particles conformity, the software about quantitative characterization of the microstructure of materials of the space regularly-shaped particles is formed, and providing a platform for further quantitative measurement ofmaterial microstructure and evaluation of material properties.
