The researches on Quantitative description of the relationship between material microstructure and material properties, as well as the virtual failure analysis of materials, have been in the spotlight of people. In order to predict material properties through its microstructure and to make judgments on the failer performance of materials, one must get full idea of material microstructure. The article mainly discussed the methods on computational reconstruction for polycrystalline material microstructure and the realizations through program of two-dimensional reconstruction and three-dimensional reconstruction. The main tasks are as follows:For the two-dimensional reconstruction, two methods are used. One is reconstruction by voxels and the other is reconstruction by MT algorithm. The data used by the two programs is from EBSD analysis of polycrystalline material. Both of the methods are based on C and OPENGL multi-programming and can accomplish the reconstruction of polycrystalline material microstructures independence. A program is designed to depress the noises of the picture which get from the two-dimensional reconstruction of polycrystalline material microstructures. For the three-dimensional reconstruction, two methods are used. One is reconstruction by voxels and the other is reconstruction by MT algorithm. Both of the methods are based on C and OPENGL multi-programming and can accomplish the reconstruction of polycrystalline material microstructures independence.Two-dimensional reconstruction and three-dimensional reconstruction realized visualization of polycrystalline material microstructures. The present work lays a basis for numerical processing of polycrystalline material microstructures.
