The Research Of Network Teaching System Based On Multi-Agent

With the development of Internet, network teaching has got more and more extensive application. Learners can study anytime, anywhere. They can take part in online learning, online exam, online discussion, online query and online communication as well, even at home. This instructional mode can provides learner with a rich and colorful interactive interface which is made of both images and texts, and with a huge repository of knowledge and information which can stimulate learners to learn; so that learners can construct knowledge depending on their own initiatively and get, renew, even innovate knowledge by themselves; those aims belongs to our dreamboat. As a result the network teaching has become the important direction of education reform and development. The network teaching system has already become the research heat of local education technique field.But there still are many problems in the network teaching system nowadays. First, they lack guidance of the advanced study theory. Second, the functions of active interaction in existing instruction system are not strong enough, and most of them are given mainly to present the instruction materials. Three, the system's intelligence is lower. Four, the testing and evaluating functions of the system are not good enough. Five, there is not an effective guide to students in existing system. Furthermore, in the main constructions of existing network teaching systems are C/S constructions, causing that the client end is too huge. And the resident program may operate the client end at will, causing that the unsafe factors of the system are added. To overcome these problems, the Agent technology of AI field is adopted in the network teaching system. The Agent technology provided the new development space for the network teaching of research.The network teaching system in this paper was based on Multi-Agent technology, instructed by the constructive theory. The function of active interaction in existing instruction system has been improved effectively and the system realizes the individualized teaching to some extent.
