Research And Implement Of Bootloader Based On ARM Embedded System

Along with the development of information and the communication industry, the embedded system product more and more popularizes, and is acting an important role in the daily life. Establishing a general bootloader on the embedded Linux system is necessary for providing convenience for the development of embedded product.This paper is based on the ARM embedded system general bootloader design and implement. In embedded system, bootloader is a module that run before the excution of core operation, its basic function is to start the system and load the core mirror image.In this paper, hardware adopt PXA272 and S3C44B0 as the processor, software adopt the operating system by Linux and Win CE. The goals of this paper not only realize the basic function bootloader, but also the dirver of peripheral.Final, some issues about the expansion of the bootloader are discussed, and IPv6 protocol is realized in the network operating system.
