Robot soccer system is an open, distributed, dynamic, real-time system, and involves the intelligence control, wireless communication, computer science, image processing, and artificial intelligence, is an interdisciplinary area.We can say the path planning is important in the robot soccer system, is a branch in the soccer robot research, and its research has become a hotspot in the moving robot investigation.Genetic algorithm (GA) is an artificial intelligence way. This article does path planning by GA. First, we build motorial equation at Cartesian reference frame, then judge whether the robot is an obstacle by area way. Using GA path planning, we produce many paths randomly, then to cross and select, last find an expected path which reach the standard required. The simulation experiment and the real competition show that this algorithm which we research is able to plan a better path rapidly in any complex environment only if the path exists, and validated the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
