With the development of the economics integration, the faster process of the internet and under the background of technology creation, the concept of EPC is proposed. It attracts many countries attention on the world; it also attracts more attention of our Ministry of science and technology of China, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China, Standardization Administration of China etc and related companies. In our country, RFID technology is in its earlier development and EPC Application standardization has been started. However, the standardization of EPC/RFID and Middleware haven't been established which effects and restricts logistics advancement.The Electronic Product Code (EPC) was conceived as a means to identify all physical objects. These include not only retail products, but also containers, packages and shipments, as well as more general physical systems, assemblies and components. The EPC is a short, simple and extensible code designed primarily for efficient referencing to networked information.According to this condition, this thesis track RFID technology and application of EPC system closely, analyzes establishment and issuance of EPC standardization and of ISO, EPCglobal and UID. On the basis of deeply research combined with our countries condition, it brings forward measures of EPC/RFID standardization, application design and spread.This article analyzes the basic framework, basic workflow of EPC^TM and the features of logistics application and RFID system applications, sets down establishment methods and principle of EPC architecture, constructs EPC^TM referable model, finished the main content of EPC architecture, draws out lists of EPC architecture. It provides reference and model for EPC application and advancement.This article offers open, modularized middleware model and configuration, data process system which can upgrade and middleware protocol specification of each module based on analysizing tne principle of EPC Net. The document attributes bridge in accordance with the present invention privides a simple way to develop distributed middleware applications for the developer.On account of distributed structure design, the middleware is flexible, assembled and extendable. It meets the demand of operation and the development of technology.
