Troubles From Inside And Outside In Book Copyright Trading Of China

The publishing industry is at the high position of the whole culture industry. Nowadays,"GO OUT, PUBLISHING!"has turned to be one of the five strategies which decided by The General Administration of Press and Publication of The P.R.China. As the core of the international publishing trade, the copyright trading has become more and more attractive. But after looking into this phenomenon, we will see the shameful truth that the import and export of the books are terribly unbalanced, and the disparity is surprisingly obvious. Furthermore, this disparity has a long history, it seems to appear at the very beginning of the copyright trading. However, in developed countries, mistakes will disappear as the copyright trading goes further. But in China, we did not have good news. Moreover, after enter the World Trade Organization, China has to face the competition of foreign capital. The native publishing industry will get a lot of trouble to get used to this. In this critical moment, the action that China takes is going to be the focus of attention. This thesis discusses the crisis and opportunity that China will have, and give out some suggestion in the ways of the development of native publishing industry.
