Research On Multiple Views Mapping Mechanism Among Heterogeneous Ontologies

As the extension of Web, Semantic Web focuses on adding semantic to resources on Web and aims at achieving knowledge share and semantic interoperability. Ontology is the key factor of realizing Semantic Web. But with the explosively increasing number of ontology, it is inevitable that a large amount of ontologies describing the same domain and similar concepts are developed independently and there may exist many ontologies for the same domain with leading to the heterogeneity problem.So how to deal with the heterogeneity problem and realize the interoperability among ontologies become the precondition of knowledge share, merge and integration based on ontology without any obstruction. This thesis finds the corresponding relation between the entities in the ontologies, namely, ontology mapping for solving the heterogeneity problem.
