About China's rural current situation and media's role played in the course of promoting the countryside's society transition, there are a great deal of dispute. In my opinion, there are a lot of misunderstandings about the question.Since our country regards countryside as the most important thing of the present country's development tactics, the backward state of media in the countryside should become one of the problems to be solved too. Exploring the reasons would be greatly helpful to solve the problem. In this article, I try to excavate the profound reason for such a current situation, therefore, to offer the beneficial thinking for changing of the backward state of rural media, and even the settlement of whole rural problem. Coming from countryside and because of China's intellectuals traditional feeling " cause for generation with ", I have a long history of caring rural development. I will study the topic with myself specialized, and hope to offer a humble effort to the settlement of such a big problem from a new aspect.In this article, I attempt to connect rural masses' media and rural politics, economic situation to carry on research. In my opinion, the situation " in urban and rural areas to divide and rule ", which comes down continuously from the foundation of the state to the present, leads to the backward state of media in the countryside. The basic settlement of the problem lies in politics; economy and culture completely equal between town and country, and offer peasants the same development opportunities, the same national treatment and back feeding of agriculture by the policy of two and three industries that has already developed now. For the disparity between the increasing expand in occupying and using in media resources, the thorough scheme to settle it does not lie in the morals, but really lies in practical attitude from inside and outside respect: (1) Strengthen the investment construction of the infrastructure in the countryside including masses media resource. For example, draw lessons from the western public TV system and set up the agricultural rural TV station, instead of " the rural channel " offered by those comprehensive platforms. (2) The government should support masses' media to increase the quantity of agricultural report, improve the way of reporting, promote the degree of affinity with peasants, keep watch for "the agriculture, peasants and countryside", therefore, play a vanguard role in the settlement of "the agriculture, peasants and countryside".
