The Design And Implementation Of College Campus Tourism Information System Based On MapObjects

Along with the sustained developing of the economy and improving of culture diathesis, college campus tourism has gradually become hotspot. AS a main approach to getting college campus tourism information, college campus tourism information system is attracting the attention of many touristes. So the design and implementation of college campus tourism information systems based on MapObjects have a practical worth. The paper combines MapObjects technology and traditional tourism information system, and displays such distributions as campus building, teaching facilities, and the living facilities in the form of vector graphics used a campus panoramic view as background. With these graphics, it will be much easier to query information, locate or make statistics out of the space data. In this way, the bi-directional graphic-text query can be facilitated, furthermore the system accomplish the function of 3D virtual roam of college campus.Based on the methods of geographic information system and software engineering, the paper designs and analyses scientifically, establishes the college campus tourism information system which has some stability and practicability based on Visual Basic.NET and MapObjects.The article consists of four parts, the main content as follows:1. The research background of the article, the content of study, the technique means of study.2. The key technology of this system.This part discusses the key technology of this system. Based on COM (Component Object Model) to develope GIS is more and more popular. It changed the working pattern of the traditional integration GIS. Because the GIS database includes the attribute data and the spatial data, they have tightly relation. So how to realize their connection, inquire and management between them is an important problem which database management system must faced. The article introduces the technology of the attribute data and the spatial data, and discusses the making of 360° panorama photograph and the technology of 3D virtual scene of campus.
