This thesis introduces SVM systems ( also known as SoftwareDistributed Shared Memory systems, Software DSM) briefly, and analyzesits behavior of communication in-depth. Through SCI's API SISCI,thisthesis redesigns JIAJIA's communication module, tests and analyzesrealized system's performance,draws some conclusions.SCI standard describes a physical interlinkage protocol and a kindof media based on the protocol. SCI(Scalable Coherent Interface) extendsusual mainboard bus into Full-duplex point-to-point Transmissionsinterlinkage ones ,and it offers low delay and high bandwidthcommunication and distributed sharing memory-mapped.Most SVM's communication module based on TCP/IP which use Socketcommunication library, overhead of software and hardware are very huge.Apparently, reducing SVM's communication overhead needs more performancecommunication library. So This thesis introduces SCI's high performancecommunication to SVM JIAJIA. Through SCI's API SISCI,this thesisredesigns JIAJIA's communication module,And tests and analyzes realizedsystem's performance ,as results show,JIAJIA based on SCI throw out veryhigh performance.In performance analysis, this thesis advances a index named net-speedup used by estimate system performance worked on by communication.This thesis analyzes the behavior and communication distributing ofbench-marks and system performance worked on by performance of networkthrough Amdahl law and net-speedup.Compared with time spend on net communication, Overhead of SVM onlittle message is much larger than that on large message. And comparedwith Ethernet, the enhancement performance of large message isapparently more than that of little message in SCI net. So this thesisasserts that along with the performance enhancement of network, theoverhead of little  message will be restriction of JIAJIA's performanceenhancement in JIAJIA's present communication pattern.
