Study And Application Of Information Management System Based On The Radio Paging Input Communications

Digitization in many trades makes them more efficient than before! Nevertheless, to digitize the logistics domain needs some more special requirements because of its industrial characters: 1) Mobility: vehicles and cargoes are always in motion, the drivers and the headquarters (or consignors) need a way to keep in touch with each other. 2)Remoteness: Most of the warehouses and issuing stations are in the remote or suburban area without the necessary infrastructures for the computer network. It needs a feasible radio communications way to digitize the logistics domain except for the necessary trade framework background knowledge.The logistics domain is very large and distributed in all kinds of different trades, it' s too complicated to realize the digitization in one form. But it is reasonable to start from a rather simple and urgent trade! The freight trade is the best choice because of its comparatively easy implementation and its urgency to realize the digitization.Concerned about the cost of management, the GSM, GPRS and CDMA mode is too expensive to be adopted. The paging application system is washed out, but the radio paging network with complete coverage does exist, and it's function and performance is suitable for the transmission of the freight trade information. Even more, its cost is the lowest one. So the radio paging network system is adopted as the radio communications mode in our system. But we keep a preferably compatible design in all levels to fulfill most of the radio communications mode.So this thesis discusses the logistics background knowledge and radio communications theories and technologies necessary to digitize the freight trade in the logistics domain. It describes the theories, development and referenced solutions to modern logistics domain, and also discusses the current situation of the logistics trade.
