All of the information based on Web accepts the same kind of data format. The parts storehouse based on Web which contains bought-in components offered by suppliers, standard parts in enterprise and typical modified parts is able to realize the information integration of parts resource and designing shared in Web while raising the repetitive use of parts.The parts storehouse based on Web is formed by search engine, parts storehouse and parts supplier storehouse. While the part supplier is able to add the characters and graphic data of parts, which follow the data form of the storehouse into the parts storehouse, the user also has the authority to retrieve and download the parts information in the storehouse using search engine. The function of information interface is putting the exchange of parts information into effect. Establish a parts storehouse prototype following ISO 13584 in which the storehouse adopt classified table tree and allocate characteristic into different table in order to provide more inquiry possibility. CAD designer can visit the catalogue items of every enterprise and production enterprise through browser and get data. Supplier can also issue its product information on parts storehouse.The highly effective technology of manufacturing information resource discovery is one of the key parts of web parts library. Based on the characteristics of web information description, this paper actualizes the discovery and extraction of manufacturing information by adopting the web topic search technology. The structurally semantically information of extracted manufacturing resource is described, with PLIB ontology and XML technologies. It realizes the concept retrieval of parts resource information. Finally, the supplier information service system, based on web parts library, is implemented, so that supplier could issue the parts information which could be distinguished by computer, and user could find the proper parts information through effective inquiry route.
