"Election Show of Music", a new form of TV programs, has begun and developed quickly in our country since 2004. It has been a marvelous sight of TV culture because of its lastingly high viewing ratio and large number of advertising profits. The first relatively mature one is Hunan Satellite TV Station's "Supervoice Girls". Its successful operation and focal theory got approval. Then, in a short time, many programs of the same type appeared in our country, for example: CCTV's "Dream of China", Eastern Satellite TV Station's "Leica, My Type, I Show ", etc. Within one year, they became very popular. It is possible to find their shadow from "TV Election Show of Music" programs overseas, such as "Popular Idol", "American Idol" and so on.The program elements of "TV Election Show of Music " include: the program subject of all the people's entertainment, one wants to sing sings, by the level elimination program rule, the self-entertainment and amusing other person contestant, anti-authoritative appraisal committee, the reward establishment of a signed treaty singer as well anti-stiff anchorman. The communication strategy of participation, interaction, anxiety, primary conditions, many kinds of media conformed has been used. Its context is: the inevitable phenomenon and choice within the social transformation, cultural transformation and the process of the television values reconstruction, subverting the traditional idol in the age of mass culture, the changing of the communication idea, the consent and approval of the authorities. It is popular because of the media idea transformation and the television industrial production management, the creative absorption of the external program merits, satisfying the audience's psychological demand, reality and the returning of the television media being close, the "Spiral of Silence" effect. It also brings series of problems, such as: commercial interest actuation and discarding the social responsibility behind the high viewing ratio, the deficiency of the innovative ideology, the short message voting resulting in unusual interpersonal relationship and change of the fair nature, causing the audience to lose. These problems can be solved by initiating the correct society values, promoting the cultural status, innovating the entertainment type , inheriting the Chinese nation spirit, strengthening the medium standard, developing the media literacy.
