Practical System Constructing On GSM-Mobile RF Testing Technology

The first generation of analog honeycomb net telephone system had been invented in 1978; then the mobile communication equipment got the rapid development.At the same time handset test technology had got the similarly rapid development. The handset RF (Radio Frequency) test mainly aims at the testing of the handset in three kinds of performance parameters as RF power, modulation quality and receiving sensitivity.The work goal is constructing the practical system of GSM handset RF test. And based on the existing hardware platform, the author compiles the practical effective test software using VB language through studying the test principle and the test system instruction.This test software had passed my debugging, and the test results in the form of tables and figures described the GSM handset RF power, the phase error, the frequency error, the RMS error and the receiving sensitivity and so on.The test results of this system correlated with the GSM Chinese standard, i.e. YD 1032-2000.Compared with the existing test software of foreign enterprises, this system has not the obvious disparities in terms of test time, test accuracy and test fail rate.
