The numerical control technology is the developing direction of Manufacturing. Numerical Control Machine is the type production of mechanical-electrical integration. It is the important part of high-new technology. In recent years, the numerical control lathe technology, in constant development and progress, especially the virtual simulation system of the numerical control lathe, it has been one of the hottest subjects which people have studied all the time.This thesis has introduced the current situation of the development about virtual manufacturing and development trend, the author develop a numerical control virtual simulation system.The focal point of the subject is to adopt Windows as the developing platform, choose VC++, OpenGL as the developing instrument. According to the technology of virtual-reality based on modeling, expound a new model's arithmetic named fixed conformation and the process of realization. The built model can compare with the designing product. Adopting Unigraphics and 3DMAX, the Paper finds a new method of importing the CAD models into the program's environment. While as to dynamic entities, use redrawing technique to realize the behavior modeling respectively. And then combine geometric, behavior modeling methods to simulate the actual manufacture and operation of numerical control lathe. In the article, expound the fact realization course, function module make up and operation method of systems software in detail originally. It is very difficult to realize all functions of the NC machine. So we only consider the main function now.This system adopts target's procedure design method, the procedure that develops has advantages, such as encapsulation, inheriting, much attitudes, etc, the data which have reduced the procedure are polluted, increase exchanging exploration , readability and maintainability of the procedure, have improved systematic programming efficiency greatlyThis systematic interface is friendly, it is easy to study to operate, can be used to teaching and studying Numerical Control technique operation skills. The person can finish the operation just like on real numerical control lathe. At the same time it also reduces the payment of buying expensive instruments.
