Development Of ERP In Middle-small Manufacture Industry

Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) is the advanced theory of management in the world. ERP provides the best solution of integration information. It adequately takes into account and balances resources of manpower, capital, materials, equipments, technology, information and time, reinforcing the integral management process in the areas of manpower,capital, materials, production, supply and sales, making more profit for enterprises byutilizing limited resources.Generally, most of ERP software developed abroad are not exactly consistent with the real situation of internal enterprises, although they are fine designed and functionally good. On the other hand, many kinds of EPR software developed by large scale local software companies are doing well with internal enterprises, but they are too expensive for middle and small scale local companies.So it is necessary to develop a series of EPR with relatively lower price, operationally simple but stable, which especially meet the demand of the local middle and small scale companies.This thesis analyses the formation,development process and future of ERP,and introduces the principle and business process of primary modules. There is a detailed description about how to select ERP system software and how to implement it. It also analyzes the ERP management methods and the solution scheme based on information.The thesis also addresses the present situation of ERP developmeng in China manufacturing industry,the overall anlysis of ERPmacketthe developmeng situation of ERP technology as well as the development tendency of ERP in near future.The paper puts emphases on the design of small ERP based on Visual Basic,and studies the structure,implementation technology and application of ERP.Finally an prototype system has been implemented,including purchase management, stock management, Human resources management,etc.
