| With the quickly development of industry, such as aviation, automobile, artwork and so on, there are more and more products with complicated shape have freeform surfaces. Reverse technology has become an important method to obtain CAD model for these products. The NC machining technology provides primary mothod for these products. It has made an academic and practical study in the collection method of three dimension data, surface rebuild, and especially in the tool path generation, machining simulation and the automatic generation of NC program in this paper. A CAD/CAM system which takes measure point cloud data as object was developed. Using VC++, the obtaining data of point cloud and rebuiding, technical database and the Pro/E were integrated in this system successfully which can implement leading data, the inputting of technical parameters, the automatic generation of NC codes.The machining method, cutting dosage, cutter walking mode, the cutter advance, the retreat mode have been analyzed and a method which use remainder height to control step depth and provide the controling equation was put out. The effect of cutting parameters and tool parameters to machining process has been analyzed and accomplish the simlation of whole process with practical example, it is conclude that the method is feasible.Using application development tool Pro/Toolkit provided by Pro/Engineer and VC++, a surfrace-milling NC programming organ is created in this paper. It provides an interface with Windows style. It can obtain point cloud datum from the surface rebuild module expediently, and rebuild CAD modle with the data. Besides, it can input technical parameters from the human-computer interaction or the technical database. The data can be adjusted if it not suitable. It is realized that the tool path generation on the complicated surface, machining simulation and the automatic generation of NC program. It is connected with Pro/E seamless, integrated with CAD/CAM system successfully. |
