The Realization Of Process-control Communication Protocol And Its Intelligent Compression Function

Based on the Project that involves the data interface between DCS System and SIS System of a thermal power plant, this thesis develops a kind of communication protocol with intelligent compression technique and presents its material realization.At present, we usually meet interface problems of different systems in the process-control field. The thesis suggests an idea - using the COM port, which is common in most systems, to realize the data exchange. All the data in the process-control field have the feature of real-time, thus it is required that the communication protocol not only has the all-purpose characteristic, but also can meet the demand of real-time.The thesis demonstrates the realization of the communication protocol of a certain DCS System, and selects different compression methods in allusion to different types of user data on this foundation to improve the transmission efficiency of the communication remarkably.After the functioning of the real project, it is proved that the communication protocol can meet the practical demands of projects.It is obvious that, in allusion to different system, we can meet the demand by only making corresponding changes to the user data type in specific protocol. Therefore, the communication protocol has practical value.
