The mankind has already entered era of knowledge-driven economy in the 21st century. Knowledge has already become strategic resources that enterprises have survived and developed. As the knowledge enterprises , publishing-houses are facing the fast change of the economic and social environment too. Whether they are able to survive mainly depends on the creation in terms of technology innovation. So, it is the urgent demand for the publishing-houses to practice knowledge management and improve the knowledge level of the staff. Knowledge sharing is crucial in order to meet the expectation.Trough studying on the course and obstacle factors of knowledge sharing inside publishing-houses , from technique , management of organization and culture , this thesis has offered systematic research how to build up the knowledge sharing mechanism inside publishing-houses . and try to proposed some reference and suggestion knowledge sharing inside publishing-houses with theories and practical studies.The thesis is divided into six sections. In the first section, some basic issues related to knowledge sharing in publishing-houses are discussed, which includes knowledge , knowledge management, the meaning and types of knowledge sharing, the mechanism of knowledge sharing, and so on. In the second part, the author discusses why publishing-houses put knowledge sharing into effect. The paper elaborates that publishing-houses have necessity and possibility of the knowledge sharing through exploration of relation between a publisher and a knowledge-pattern enterprise, and feature of publishing-houses. In the third part , the thesis has offered a model of the course of knowledge sharing inside publishing-houses. Meanwhile, the obstacle factors of knowledge sharing are systematic classified and analyzed. In the forth part, the author discusses in details how to construct the knowledge sharing mechanism inside publishing-houses from the knowledge sharing technologies, constructs and explains five-level structure of knowledge sharing system inside publishing-houses. In the fifth part, the thesis discusses in details how to construct the knowledge sharing mechanism inside publishing-houses from the management of organization, include organization structure, human resources, motivation. In the sixth part , the author discusses in details how to construct the knowledge sharing mechanism inside publishing-houses from the enterprise culture, and elaborates on connotation, characteristic, cultivation of knowledge sharing culture inside publishing-houses.Finally, the author makes a summary of the whole thesis and points out the deficiencies and some issues to be discussed later.Based on theoretical analysis and case studies, the author generalizes comprehensively routes and measures that would be adopted by publishing-houses and establishes a complete system of knowledge sharing. The objective of this project is to help publishing-houses to generalize knowledge management, practice knowledge sharing.
